Welcome to "RUGRATS" Traditional Home Child Care

RUGRATS Traditional Home Child Care is a private, Christian childcare that has been caring for children living in and around the Corvallis area for over 25 years.

RUGRATS is certified with the Child Care Division with a full time provider as well as a fulltime assistant. Provider and assistant are current in First Aid/CPR and RUGRATS is sponsored by the USDA Child Care Food Program.

We daily care for a small group of children in a family like setting with ages of children ranging from infants to kindergarten.

At RUGRATS we provides a safe, secure loving second home for child to learn and grow from the time they are infants until they reach kindergarten age. It is our philosophy that children thrive in an environment where they can be relaxed and play. RUGRATS is a place where children can depend on being with the same caregivers and children each day. We provide a family for your child to live with and love on a daily basis and we know that this is one of the core building blocks in the daily care of thriving children.

We are committed to the emotional health of all the children who we are privileged to care for and it is our commitment to all parents to be partners in the development of healthy children in every way.

We offer nurturing and loving infant/toddler care within a mixed age group to help encourage a natural family-like atmosphere with good social interaction. This helps to develop empathy in young children and creates the most natural style of learning for infant and toddlers.

We've provided traditional home childcare by a Christian provider with experience and excellent references since 1985. Over the years we’ve had the pleasure of looking after many children and caring for them, and their parents have made their approval of us heard.
